Shae Foenander is a highly experienced Registered Nurse with over 30 years of clinical expertise in Emergency and Urgent Care and General Nursing Practice. In addition to her healthcare background, Shae serves as a Volunteer Firefighter with the NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS), bringing invaluable experience in emergency and disaster response.
At WHS First Response Training, the core belief is simple but powerful:
"Confidence and Competence save lives".
Shae’s courses go beyond textbook knowledge, focusing on immersive, real-world scenarios to ensure participants not only understand emergency response theory but can apply it under pressure—when every second counts.
With a training style that’s dynamic, hands-on, and deeply informed by real-life experience, Shae empowers individuals and teams to manage critical situations effectively, bridging the gap between incident and arrival of emergency services and equips participants with the practical skills, situational awareness, and confidence needed to make a difference when it matters most.
Our Core Values
•Real-World Readiness – Training grounded in what actually happens on the frontline.
•Empowerment through Practice – We believe people learn best by doing.
•Lifesaving Confidence – Our goal is to make sure you're ready, not just informed.
•Professional Integrity – All training is evidence-based, nationally compliant, and led by clinical experts.
